Girls Basketball: Conestoga’s Ellie Mack leads All-Central League girls’ basketball team

Conestoga High School senior Ellie Mack was named Most Valuable Player in the All-Central League girls’ basketball team voting announced recently.

Other first team selections were Katie Fisher, Strath Haven; Maddie Ireland, Garnet Valley; Kristin Hamill, Radnor; Mollie Reynolds, Haverford; and Sophie Grady, Harriton.

Second team selections were Emily McAteer, Garnet Valley; Jordan D’Ambrosio, Springfield; Izzy Hamlin, Ridley; Allison Lanzone, Radnor; Sarah Fitzpatrick, Lower Merion; and Brianne Borcky, Garnet Valley.

Honorable mention selections were Maria Koblish, Conestoga; Alana Swift, Harriton; Maggie O’Connell, Springfield; Rachel Vresilovic, Strath Haven; Ashley Murphy, Haverford; Madison D’Ambrosio, Springfield; Bethany Eldridge, Lower Merion; Kate Russo, Penncrest; Liz Scott, Conestoga; Belle Mastropietro, Springfield; Amanda Battista, Haverford; Olivia Young, Marple Newtown; Nicole Massimino, Radnor; and Emma Blewett, Upper Darby.

Garnet Valley was the league champion. The Central League Sportsmanship Awards went to Penncrest (first place), Marple Newtown (second place), Lower Merion (tied for third) and Strath Haven (tied for third).

Conestoga's Ellie Mack is the Central League MVP.
