Ridley freshman Gabrielle Rudy met automatic district-qualifying mandates in three events and secured wins in four as the Green Raiders coasted past Upper Darby, 108-77, Wednesday in a Central League girls swimming meet.
Rudy’s finishes in the 100 breaststroke (1:07.20), 50 freestyle (24.72) and the Raiders’ 200 medley relay (1:53.60) were good enough for the District One Championships meet’s standards. The ninth-grader also swam to a win in the 200 freestyle.
Kiera Wadsworth and Allison Cardow, Rudy’s teammates in the medley relay, had a pair of individual wins apiece. Wadsworth won the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke, automatically qualifying for districts in both, and Cardow touched the wall first in the 200 freestyle and the 200 individual medley.
