All Main Line Girls Soccer

Congratulations to the following Central League Girls Soccer players who made the All Main Line teams.

First Team
Gillian Sencindiver, Conestoga — Senior center back and captain was an all-state selection at defender (Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association) and a Central League first team pick. She was noted for her fitness (played every minute, including 10 overtime contests) and defense (was Pioneers’ Defensive MVP). Took all corners and restarts.

Paige Kozlowski, Conestoga — Junior midfielder/defender and captain, a first team All-Central League pick, was the Pioneers’ MVP. Noted for her great vision, speed, versatility and touch. Contributed six goals and eight assists.

Katie Melvin, Harriton — Senior midfield/forward and captain, a first team All-Central League pick, became Harriton’s all-time leading points scorer with 72, after tallying 22 goals and six assists in 15 games this fall. Was noted for her ability to take over a game with her athleticism.

Kelly Rogers, Haverford High — Senior goalie, a first team All-Central League selection and first team All-Delco pick, posted 11 shutouts, and during the Fords’ 11-game winning streak, she allowed only one goal — in a 2-1 win against West Chester Henderson, in which she made 12 saves.

Laura Slavich Haverford High — Senior midfielder, a first team All-Central League pick and first team All-Delco selection, was considered the engine of the Fords’ midfield, which became especially crucial when injuries hit Haverford’s forward line.

Olivia Butera, Haverford High — Junior midfielder, a firat team All-Central League selection as well as an All-Delco pick, was a fine all-around performer for the Fords, and was key to their long winning streak and run to the district playoffs.

Victoria Klevan, Lower Merion — Junior forward, a first team All-Central League pick, tallied 17 goals in 18 games and dished out six assists.

Marya Ghazzi, Radnor — Senior midfielder, a first team All-Central League selection, was a standout all-around performer for the Red Raiders. Radnor’s MVP provided offense (five assists, two goals) as well as defense.

Second Team
Conestoga — Grace Edgarton, junior striker; Megan Woods, sophomore defender/attacker; Alice Regan, sophomore midfielder.

Harriton — Claire Coyle, sophomore goalie; Nikkole Voluck, senior defender.

Haverford High — Jess Lyons, junior midfielder; Josie Schultz, sophomore defender.

Lower Merion — Morgan Buck, senior defender; Danielle Baer, senior goalie.

Radnor — Reilly Masterson, junior midfielder.

Honorable Mention
Conestoga — Anna Tellefsen, junior forward; Caitlyn Perz, freshman forward.

Harriton — Bailey Ebby, senior midfielder; Hannah Udren, senior midfielder.

Lower Merion — Abigail Ritterband, sophomore defender; Marissa Shander, junior center half.

Radnor — Julianna Puckette, freshman midfielder.
